I'm fairly certain overall it is just small changes that were implemented, nothing too noticeable I bet. I also ran into weird occurrences where I could get intel on warchieftans with regulars in the GoTY and I could not in the vanilla which threw me for a loop when I started playing it. I noticed the frame rate dropped big time for me in vanilla where as I never had it for the GoTY. I played GoTY first and went back to vanilla.
